Compressed Air and Water Hose Reel Installation

Water Hose Reel Installation

For vehicle cleaning, parts washing and daily workshop cleaning, we bring water to workstations via wall- or ceiling-mounted hose reels. The hose stays off the floor, is not crushed and retracts automatically after use.

Why Hose Reels?

  • The risk of tripping and slipping on hoses on the floor is eliminated.
  • The hose is not crushed under vehicle wheels and lasts longer.
  • Water is at hand at every station whenever it is needed.
  • Together with air and oil hose reels in the same arrangement, the station stays neat and tidy.

Installation

Water taken from the mains or a booster pump line is routed to the workstations inside the workshop. A valve is fitted at each hose reel inlet so that only the relevant point needs to be shut off during maintenance. A gun or washing nozzle is selected according to the intended use and, if hot water is to be used, a hose with suitable temperature resistance.

Planned Together

We usually install water hose reels at the same station as compressed air hose reels and oil hose reels. When all lines are planned together, pipe routes are simplified and installation is completed in one go.

Where Are Water Hose Reels Used?

Engine and chassis washing areas, parts cleaning stations, tyre and wheel cleaning, workshop floor cleaning and air-conditioning/radiator service points are where water hose reels are used most. At frequently used points, a hose reel solution saves time and keeps the floor dry and safe.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can it be used for hot water?

Yes; if hot water is to be used, the hose reel and hose are selected to suit that temperature.

Can a pressure washer be connected?

If a pressure washer is to be used, the hose reel, hose and connections must be rated for its working pressure. We clarify your intended use during the site survey.

Is there a risk of freezing in winter?

For lines passing through unheated areas, the route and insulation are planned to prevent freezing. The hose reels are usually mounted inside the heated workshop.
