Automation Systems
Systems that add electronic control, measurement and alerts to the oil distribution and collection infrastructure. Who dispensed how much oil and when, what is left in the tank, when the waste oil tank will be full — everything is measured and recorded.
Automation systems are a control layer added on top of an existing or newly installed oil installation. Computer-controlled oil management matches every dispensing operation to an authorised staff member and a work order; tank level monitoring shows the stock in real time; overfill prevention stops discharge into the waste oil tank when it is full.
The three systems can be installed independently; when they work together, the oil leaving the tank, the oil dispensed from the gun and the oil invoiced can be tracked in the same table. For the underlying infrastructure, see oil distribution and collection systems.
