What Does It Provide?
- Authorisation: You define which staff members may dispense from which station.
- Work-order-based dispensing: The service advisor defines the quantity of oil the vehicle needs; the technician dispenses the defined quantity.
- Transaction log: The time, quantity, station and staff member of every dispense are recorded.
- Reporting: Reports by consumption, staff member and oil type; comparison of stock against consumption.
The features provided depend on the system used and its configuration; we determine the right set-up for your needs together during the site survey.
How Does a Dispense Work?
- The service advisor opens the work order and enters the oil quantity into the system.
- The technician identifies themselves at the station and selects the work order.
- The system opens the relevant line; the meter in the gun measures the oil dispensed.
- When the defined quantity is reached, dispensing stops and the transaction is recorded.
Who Is It For?
Authorised dealer service centres with high oil consumption, fleet maintenance workshops and businesses where several technicians use the same lines benefit most from these systems. Preventing unrecorded oil use and matching the invoiced quantity to the quantity dispensed are decisive factors in the payback of the investment.

Integration with Service Processes
The computer-controlled system extends the process that starts when the service advisor opens a work order all the way to oil dispensing. Since the oil quantity is defined in the work order, the technician works with a defined quantity rather than an estimate; overfilling, under-invoicing and unrecorded use become visible in the reports.
What Do the Reports Show?
- Consumption by oil type on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Dispensing transactions by staff member and station
- Differences between the defined and the dispensed quantity
- Comparison of tank level with recorded consumption
Frequently Asked Questions
Can it be added to our existing central oil distribution line?
The condition of the existing line is assessed during the site survey. On suitable lines, control units, meters and software can be added while keeping the pump and pipework.
Does the system need calibration?
Yes. For the measured and dispensed oil to match, the meters must be checked and calibrated periodically. We carry out the calibration and the reporting.
Do you service MDS 2000 systems?
Yes. We provide installation, calibration and after-sales support for Badger Meter MDS 2000 systems.
Does the system require an internet connection?
It depends on the system configuration. Systems running on a local network can record dispensing without an internet connection; remote reporting requires a network connection.
