Compressed Air and Water Hose Reel Installation
Lines that carry air from the compressor and mains water to every workstation; with hose reels that retract the hose automatically when not in use, no hoses are left lying on the floor.
Air and water are used in almost every job in the workshop: pneumatic hand tools, tyre inflation, parts cleaning, vehicle washing and cooling system work. Hoses lying on the floor mean both an occupational safety risk and premature hose wear.
In a hose reel installation, air and water reach the workstation through lines dropping from the ceiling or a column; when not in use, the hose is wound back onto the reel. Filter-regulator units on the air line and valves and fittings on the water line are selected according to the needs of the workstation. The two lines are usually grouped on the same panel as the exhaust and oil hose reels.
